tooth decay

There can be many reasons for your tooth decay, but you should never take your dental care lightly. Because the house of your teeth can cause many diseases in your body. Today we are going to tell you about the causes of tooth decay and its treatment in this blog. Because if your teeth are healthy then your body is also healthy.

1. Tooth Decay

Our teeth are made up of calcium, phosphorus, and other minerals. Although the hardest part of the human body are its teeth, but due to carelessness and lack of awareness, they also become victims of decay.

Due to tooth decay, toothache occurs and there is difficulty in eating food, if the front teeth root, then the beauty of the face gets stained and there is a decrease in self-confidence.

2. Causes of Tooth Decay

By the way, the problem of tooth decay is considered normal. But tooth decay opens the way for many diseases to enter our bodies, so we should not ignore it. Because decay can become a big problem later.

There are 3 main reasons for tooth decay –

(A) Food and Drink

Foods that are high in carbohydrates and sugar increase the risk of tooth decay, if the food is sticky such as toffee, sweets, and potato chips, then the risk of tooth decay is even higher.

(B) Teeth Cleaning and Texture

Not cleaning teeth properly is like inviting decay. It is necessary to brush your teeth twice daily. In this way, you can reduce the growth of bacteria present in the mouth, and at the same time, you can also clean the stuck food items. To keep your teeth clean, you should brush them properly in a daily manner, floss, and use proper mouthwash.

(C) Coral Bacteria

No matter how much one cleans, everyone has bacteria in their mouth. But how well we clean our mouth and what we do to keep it clean determines whether the number of bacteria will increase or decrease. And if the number increases, are there factors causing them to rot.

As soon as you stop eating, bacteria start their work, they form a kind of yellow layer on the teeth which we call plaque. This plaque is home to bacteria and regular brushing can prevent it from forming. The bacteria in the mouth need carbohydrates and sugar to make acid, which causes tooth decay.

3. Symptoms of Tooth Decay

The first symptom of tooth decay is a brownish stain on the top surface (enamel) of the tooth. Then this stain becomes a little bigger, takes the form of a hole and food starts getting stuck at that place. By getting stuck in the food, the process of rotting gets faster and the hole in the tooth gets bigger. When this hole gets a little deeper and reaches the inner surface (dentin) of our teeth, then we start feeling cold or sweet. When the decay goes deeper than this, it reaches the pulp (the nerve of the tooth) and infects it, and then we get a severe toothache.
